ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Winnebago County Integrity Task Force investigates the death of a Winnebago County Jail inmate, according to the sheriff’s office.
Around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, correctional officers found a 30-year-old woman unresponsive in the jail.
Authorities say correctional officers and on-site medical staff initiated life-saving measures. She was later taken to a local hospital where she died…
