Plane makes emergency landing at Rockford airport

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — First responders rushed to the Chicago Rockford International Airport on Wednesday afternoon after a small plane circled in for an emergency landing.

According to FlightAware, the twin-engine Cessna Chancellor flight originated at Iron Mountain Airport in Kingsford, Michigan, and departed there at 3:35 p.m.

Reports suggested the plane had lost power to one of its engines.
