SOUTH BELOIT, Ill. (WIFR) – The city of South Beloit takes a step toward hiring its next fire chief.
During a city council meeting Monday, council members approved the appointment of Scott Fischer as the city’s new chief. His appointment passed by a vote of 4-0, according to Mayor Tom Fitzgerald.
