ROCKFORD — City Council has given the OK for a new McDonald’s drive-thru restaurant to be built near the corner of Rote and Perryville roads on the city’s east side.
The dual-lane drive-thru restaurant at 1869 N. Perryville Road garnered public attention after neighbors pushed back against plans for it to be built. They had argued it would cause traffic congestion and affect property values.
