Rockford man on pretrial release arrested in drug bust; meth, cocaine, and weapons found

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police recovered cocaine, methamphetamine, cannabis, and a shotgun and rifle during the arrest of suspected narcotics trafficker Joseph Krispin on Wednesday.

According to police, the Narcotics Unit launched an investigation into Krispin, 28, earlier this year, resulting in today’s arrest following a search of a home in the 3000 block of Marshall Street.

During the search, the drugs and weapons were recovered, police said. Authorities said Krispin was on pre-trial release for the offense of possession of a stolen firearm at the time of his recent arrest…
