ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A portion of Auburn Street is closed Wednesday night following an incident that put one woman in the hospital.
Around 8 p.m., police posted on X that a female pedestrian was hit in the 3800 block of Auburn Street and taken to a hospital for serious injuries.
The public is asked to avoid the area because traffic is blocked in both directions as police investigate the situation…
