STATELINE, Ill. (WIFR) – The final Saturday before Christmas, known as Super Saturday, is expected to bring millions of shoppers to stores across the country and local businesses say they’re feeling the rush.
According to the National Retail Federation, nearly 159 million consumers are expected to shop on Super Saturday as people wrap up their holiday lists just days before Christmas.
At Toad Hall, a longtime record and bookstore in Rockford, owner Nick Naruz said the timing makes all the difference.
