OGLE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – A man and a woman were arrested after a police chase Saturday night that started in Byron.
Zachary J Popp, 31, faces charges for aggravated fleeing to elude a police officer, possession of controlled substance crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles, speeding 35+ mph and violation of bail bond conditions.
The passenger, Samantha Norup, 30, was also arrested for two active warrants for battery and driving under the influence of alcohol, other drugs, or intoxicating compounds…
