McNamara, Bell highlight $65M in infrastructure work in Rockford’s 13th Ward

ROCKFORD — Mayor Tom McNamara and Alderman Tamir Bell on Tuesday highlighted how the city’s new record-breaking $385 million capital plan also makes historic investments in downtown and the west side.

They held a news conference at City Yards, the home base for the Public Works Department, to draw attention to more than $65 million in road and infrastructure work coming to the 13th Ward, which Bell represents.
