ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful (KNIB) is running its annual Christmas tree recycling program across Rockford and nearby communities, providing a network of drop-off sites for real trees and offering free mulch at multiple locations while supplies last.
The initiative diverts trees from landfills and returns them to the community as usable mulch and compost resources.
