ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Two pencils hang from Chloe Roper’s ears. Once a student of Rockford Public Schools, she returned as a proud educator — showing her love with lively earrings.
“When I was little, I thought there were three jobs. I could either be a police officer, a firefighter, or a teacher. So I said, ‘We’ll be a teacher,’” reflected Roper.
