JANESVILLE — One of four alleged victims of former Beloit Memorial High School teacher and coach Andre DeKok on Monday identified the former boys volleyball and swimming coach as the man who sexually assaulted him years ago.
The victim, whose name is not being published, testified in Rock County Circuit Court during a preliminary hearing to assess whether there was enough evidence to hold DeKok over for trial. After the testimony, DeKok’s attorney, Josh Uller, moved to have the case dismissed, but Rock County Commissioner Jack Hoag found sufficient evidence to advance the case and scheduled an arraignment for Jan. 20.
