ROCKFORD — The average cost of a gallon of gas has fallen 7 cents in the past week to $2.74 on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 139 stations across the city.
Prices in the city are nearly 16 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and almost 32 cents per gallon lower than this time a year ago, according to data from the fuel savings app. It’s the lowest level gas prices have been since early 2021, according to GasBuddy data.
