WINNEBAGO, Ill. (WIFR) – What started as a routine rescue quickly turned into a days-long effort to save a cat trapped inside the walls of a Winnebago home.
Danielle Freeman says she was helping trap a feral cat named Luna so she could be spayed through NIPCO, a local organization in Freeport that helps control stray cat populations.
After Luna’s surgery, Freeman brought her back home to recover, but shortly after, the cat disappeared into a bathroom hole.
