ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Kendrick Farris is not only a three-time Olympian, but he’s also an advocate for health education and youth resources.
January 8-10, he’ll be in Rockford to work with Rockford Barbell and conduct youth wellness and nutrition activations as part of FEED: Fitness, Education, Equity, Discipline.
“What I want them to know is that they have access to a lot of information and how to actually apply it,” Ferris said. “I’m just thankful to have the opportunity to be in the position to share with them my experiences and let them know these things are obtainable, you can set goals and then you can obtain those goals and then you can pay it forward.”
