FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) – The Ritchie Buss Memorial Tournament returned to Freeport Sunday for its 16th year.
The competition was named in honor of a man many people say was a popular bowler in the Pretzel City.
Tournament Director Jeff Johnson contributes the event’s success to a competitive field of several pro bowlers and comradery of those who knew Ritchie. Johnson said they want to make the event better every year but they don’t want to fix what’s not broken. He said the only noticeable change is more sponsors for their prize fund…
