ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Early sunshine faded behind afternoon clouds that moved in from the west across the stateline. Southerly winds also helped to give our temperatures a boost into the lower 40s, which kept us about 10 to 12 degrees above average for this time of year. Expect cloudy skies tonight to keep temperatures steady in the 30s, with drizzle and fog developing after midnight and into early Tuesday morning.
