Illinois drivers can now cruise over brand-new Illinois 2 bridges in Rockton, with the state finishing work on a $25.3 million bridge replacement funded under Rebuild Illinois.
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced the project is now complete, allowing heavier vehicles to utilize the bridge in a corridor connecting the communities of Rockford, Rockton, South Beloit and Beloit, Wis.
