Shooting in south Rockford leaves one critically injured

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — One man has been critically injured and another wounded in a shooting in south Rockford on Tuesday night.

At approximately 10:12 p.m., authorities with the Rockford Police Department said a shooting had occurred in the 3000 block of Rutger’s Place, within a neighborhood located at the southwest corner of the intersection of S. Alpine Road and Harrison Avenue.
