ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Low clouds and dense fog hung around for the majority of our Wednesday keeping temperatures a little cooler as they topped out in the upper 30s. The fog eventually lifted, allowing sunshine to reappear across the stateline for a few hours. This evening, expect clear skies and light winds, with temperatures staying steady in the middle to upper 30s.
