ROCKFORD, IL — Rockford Public Schools and teachers’ union representatives could not come to an agreement on a new contract during a Jan. 7 bargaining session.
Teachers have worked since June 30 under the provisions of an expired four-year contract. The sides have so far not been able to bridge a gap over pay and other issues.
