Belvidere man accused of drunk driving, hitting and killing pedestrian

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WIFR) – A man is arrested in Boone County after he crashed into and killed a pedestrian while driving drunk, deputies say.

Trevor W. Tosh, 19, of Belvidere, is charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol causing death and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Just after 7 p.m., Jan. 10, the Boone County Sheriff’s Department went out to a call of a crash around Olson Road and Sheffield Drive in Belvidere involving a car and a pedestrian.
