ROCKFORD — Smokey Bones has closed its restaurant on East State Street, a move foreshadowed last year when the barbecue chain said it would close underperforming locations and convert some into Twin Peaks lodges.
The Rockford restaurant, at 6690 E. State St., closed on Monday. It had been in business since March 2019.
