BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Auburn Knights blew out Hononegah Wednesday night by 32 points. Friday night they followed that up by running away from Belvidere north by 40 points 70-30. Both wins were on the road.Belvidere North had come into the game on a roll having upset Guilford on Tuesday and then defeated Freeport on Wednesday.Auburn is now 8-1 in NIC-10 play and tied with Guilford for first place. Guilford did not play Friday. Hononegah is one step back with a 7-2 conference record. Belvidere North is 5-4 in conference play.For highlights of this game, watch the media player above.
