ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A fire in Rockford claims the lives of two dogs and injures a firefighter, Saturday morning.
Just before 8:30 a.m., Jan. 24, fire crews went out to a report of a fire at a two-family duplex in the 700 block of 7th Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, they report heavy smoke and flames were coming from the lower apartment, which spread to the upper apartment.
