ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – To show appreciation for stateline veterans, the Veteran’s Drop-In Center holds a special dinner event on Monday.
At 4 p.m., Jan. 26, the center will host a prime rib dinner with all the accompaniments at 1539 S. 4th Street in Rockford. Veterans can come to the center to relax, socialize and enjoy a meal.
Organization leaders say there have been concerns about its closure amid significant restructuring, but they announce the center is fully open and offering lunch and dinner services to veterans during the week…
