ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A couple days following a shooting at a bar on the city’s southeast side, the Rockford Police Department now has a suspect in custody.
Aaron Boyle, 23, of Rockford, faces several charges:
- Attempted Murder
- Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm
- Aggravated Battery (Discharge of a Firearm)
- Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
- Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm
- Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance
Just before 1:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, a fight broke out at Stumpy’s Bar, 5801 Columbia Parkway, leading to at least one gunshot ringing out.
