BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) – The City of Beloit and The Town of Beloit consider consolidating fire and emergency medical services.
Leaders from the Beloit City Council and the Town of Beloit Board of Supervisors will meet Monday, Feb. 2 to discuss the consolidation proposal.
“Both communities face similar pressures with staffing constraints, rising costs, and the need for sustainable service delivery,” said John Malizio, Town Administrator for the Town of Beloit, in a news release. “We are recommending this exploration to evaluate whether consolidation could enhance services while controlling costs for our residents.”…
