ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Auburn Knights had extra motivation to play well Tuesday night against the East E-RABs. They wanted to win for Josephine Ott, the wife of their head coach Bryan Ott. Josephine is battling a medical issue.
Did they ever win. The Knights dominated the first half leading 46-18 at intermission. They wound up winning the game 73-49. Auburn’s players and coaches wore special warmup T-shirts with ribbons on them. After the game, they surrounded Josephine Ott for a team photo, and then they did a breakdown with her in the center of it.
Amir Danforth scored 15 points in Auburn’s big first half. He finished the game with 23 points. Champ Parker was next with 14 points and five assists. Kaiden Doze scored ten for the Knights…
