ROCKFORD. Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Public Schools launched a Direct Dental Service at The QUAD, improving both access to care and hygiene for students.
“This clinic is unique. It is one of a kind. There’s no other one like it that I know of. This place stood empty. So, we were looking for a home to set a dental clinic,” said chairman, founder, and dentist Dr. H. Cyrus Oates.
The clinic is a free service that’s available to all students who qualify. District employees pick up the students, bring them to their dental appointments, and drop the students back at school.
