BELOIT — A Beloit couple facing felony theft charges after allegedly staging a robbery to cover up stealing from Bessie’s Diner in Janesville, were arrested in Corpus Christi, Texas on Wednesday.
Melita Jensen, 30, and Charles Bernard Jr., 37, have been wanted by police since an arrest warrant was issued on Jan. 20.
Jensen and Bernard both are facing felony theft of more than $10,000 and misdemeanor obstructing an officer charges, according to Rock County court records…
