ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Mark Bonne, the council member for Rockford’s 14th Ward, is accused of driving under the influence, according to documents filed in Winnebago County court.
A police report says Bonne, 63, was ticketed with DUI just before 1 a.m. Jan. 27, in the area of Harrison and Alpine Road in Rockford.
He was served with a notice to appear in court on Feb. 20.
Bonne, a Democrat, was re-elected in 2025 to represent the 14th Ward on the city’s southeast side. He also serves as chair on the Code and Regulation committee and is on the Labor Negotiations and Historic Preservation committees, according to the city’s website…
