GREEN BAY, Wis. (WIFR/WBAY) – In a statement released Friday, the Green Bay Mayor announced Fire Chief Matthew Knott has resigned from his position with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, effective immediately.
The mayor says the decision comes after careful reflection, as Chief Knott has chosen to step away to focus on his family’s needs.
