ROCKFORD, IL — Gustafson’s Furniture & Mattress has reopened after a temporary closure as the family business restructured, the business said in a Feb. 11 Facebook post.
“Rockford, we’re back open,” the post read. “We’ve contacted all customers and are completing deliveries as scheduled. Any customers who had concerns during our temporary closure were refunded in good faith.”
Customers and residents had worried that the nearly 100-year-old Rockford store had closed for good when they couldn’t reach store employees and found that it was shuttered.
