Beloit man convicted of ‘Chicago-style’ domestic violence attack

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — A Beloit man has been found guilty of a brutal “Chicago-style” domestic violence attack.

Charles Gregory, 35, of Beloit, was arrested on the Fourth of July, 2024, after he “got into an argument with his significant other” and punched her in the head while he was driving. Rock County District Attorney Jason Sanders said he then threatened to beat her in front of children when they arrived home.

When they arrived at the home, the woman attempted to run to the neighbor’s house, but Gregory punched her several more times and tried “to stomp her, ‘Chicago-style’” while she was on the ground…
