JANESVILLE, Wis. — The Madison couple accused in a multi-county poisoning plot are scheduled to go on trial next year.
Online court records show Paul Van Duyne and Andrea Whitaker’s trial in Rock County will begin on March 29, 2027. The trial is scheduled to last a full month. The pair are also charged in Dane County, but trial dates there have not been set.
Van Duyne, 44, and Whitaker, 42, are accused of using chemicals including cyanide to poison women who Van Duyne previously dated. A Rock County woman was hospitalized for 38 days after multiple alleged poisoning attempts…
