Former ambulance service supervisor faces charges

A Jackson man is in jail after being charged with two counts of felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Elijah Camarillo, 28, was arrested Feb. 14 in Beloit, Wis. As of Wednesday morning, Camarillo was awaiting extradition proceedings in advance of being transported to Jackson County to face the charges.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Camarillo on Feb. 13. The arrest warrant included a felony charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct-force and a charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct-physically helpless. Both are felonies punishable by up to 15 years in prison, a fine of $30,000 or both…
