BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — A known felon in Beloit has been arrested after accidentally shooting himself in the leg, and a woman charged with buying him the gun. Both were also charged with child neglect.
According to the Beloit Police Department, officers were called to a home in the 1900 block of House Street around 4:04 p.m. after Carlos Lavariega called police to report he had shot himself in the leg.
