Pecatonica comes up short against high-powered St. Laurence Vikings

PECATONICA, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Pecatonica Indians got in one final tune-up for postseason play Friday night by hosting a team that’s likely better than any team they might face the next couple weeks in regional or sectional tournament play.The Indians hosted the St. Laurence Vikings. The 24-6 Vikings play in the Chicago Catholic League Blue Division. St. Laurence brings some firepower to the floor. The Vikings won this matchup 81-62. Junior big man Zion Braimah did all he could for Pecatonica to make this a battle. He scored 34 points, but the Indians probably needed two or three Zion Braimah’s on the court to pull this one off.For highlights, watch the media player above.
