The Loves Park Police and Fire departments will host an emergency preparedness session, according to a community announcement.
The presentation will take place on Feb. 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. at 100 Heart Blvd, Loves Park, IL 61111.
What will the presentation cover?
The free, community-focused presentation aims to help residents stay safe before, during and after emergencies.
Topics will include emergency planning, emergency kits and supplies, home and personal safety, common emergency scenarios, response and recovery, and available community resources. Attendees will learn directly from local first responders and can ask questions.
