Rockford is hosting an event to help local contractors and business owners connect with project opportunities, according to a community announcement.
The Public Procurement Event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the Rockford Public Library, 215 N. Wyman St., according to the announcement.
The event, organized by the City of Rockford in partnership with several local organizations, aims to link contractors, subcontractors and business owners with resources and upcoming projects, according to the announcement.
