ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Don’t tell the Jefferson J-Hawks that they can make a strong run in the postseason. They opened up regional action Wednesday night by defeating DeKalb on the Barbs home court 70-63. That was at the class 4A DeKalb Regional.They J-Hawks got a lot of strong contributions in this game. Malakhi Robinson, a sophomore, led the way in scoring with 19 points.The J-Hawks advance to Friday night’s regional championship game in DeKalb to face Auburn at 6pm.
