ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Restaurant Week wrapped up its most successful week yet, as more than 80 restaurants across the region participated and thousands voted on their favorite dishes.
GoRockford announced the 2026 “Best of” winners on Tuesday, highlighting the dishes and drinks that stood out during the 11-day event.
Best Experience: 27 Aluna
27 Aluna earned this year’s Best Experience award after offering two distinct fusion menus that blended Filipino flavors with Mexican and French influences.
What to order:
- Carnitas al pastor on an ube bun — a brunch standout combining familiar flavors with the restaurant’s signature Filipino ingredients.
- Blueberry and mango tres leches — a dessert served during the Frenchie-Pino dinner menu that became one of the most-photographed dishes of Restaurant Week.
Owner Patrick Alberto said the team was grateful for the support and the chance to showcase Filipino cuisine to new diners.
