BOONE COUNTY, Ill. (WTVO) — Boone County police say a 49-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision on Thursday after he drove into oncoming traffic, police said.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office reported that Jason Acup, of Sharon, was driving a 2008 Mercedes eastbound in the area of 7500 Manchester Road around 5:37 p.m. when he crossed the center line and struck a 2022 Kia head-on.
