WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office mourns the loss of Corrections Officer William Atwood.
The sheriff’s office says Atwood died Sunday, March 15, from medical issues. He was 53.
The sheriff’s office says Atwood began his career with the department in June 2013, serving the county for more than a decade.
