ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Nearly two years after one of the deadliest days in Rockford’s recent history, attorneys in the case of Christian Ivan Soto are still reviewing thousands of pages of police reports, digital files, forensic documents and other materials tied to the March 27, 2024 stabbing and beating spree that left four people dead and seven others injured.
Soto is due back in court on April 1 for a status hearing.
