ROCKFORD — A proposed residential development would bring a mix of townhomes for sale and three-bedroom apartments for rent to land nestled between two parks.
Zaher Qassem plans to develop four 4-unit townhomes and two 8-unit residences on his property at 515 S. Alpine Road. The wooded land on a hill is flanked by Alpine Hills Adventure Park to the west and overlooks Alpine Park across from Alpine Road on the east.
Qassem’s home on the north end of the nearly 3 acre site would remain, while three townhomes would be built to the west of the private drive off Larson Avenue and an additional townhome and the two multifamily units would go east of the drive.
