OSHA investigating NaturPak in Janesville, managers give ‘minimal cooperation’

JANESVILLE, Wis. — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating NaturPak in Janesville after two recent industrial incidents, according to the Janesville Police department. The department says managers at NaturPak provided “minimal cooperation.”

The March 18 incident related to an equipment-related explosion. Two employees were flown to hospitals with life threatening injuries.

About a month earlier on Feb. 11, two employees were injured and transported the hospital, one with life threatening injuries, after a pressure relief valve on a tank possibly malfunctioned. Police say a manager told employees to stop talking with law enforcement during the investigation…
