ROCKFORD — Work to rebuild 11th Street will resume on Monday as the city takes steps to begin a second phase of work to overhaul the corridor with fresh driving surfaces and pedestrian safety improvements.
After halting construction during the winter months, N-Trak Group of Loves Park will restart its work to rebuild about a mile of the roadway from Harrison Avenue to roughly 18th Avenue. That first phase of the project was initially expected to wrap up last fall, but delays pushed completion into summer 2026.
