ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Sustain Rockford is hosting the first ever Fix-It-Fair on Saturday to help the community members extend the life of their items and reduce waste.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 21, the event is held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 920 3rd Avenue, in Rockford.
Community members can bring two small household items or pieces of clothing they want to be fixed and volunteers will try to repair them for free…
